My Newest Publication
I’m pleased to announce my latest publication: a short story called “Big Z, Cammi, and Me,” in the brand new middle-grade anthology, I FOOLED YOU: TEN STORIES OF TRICKS, JOKES, AND SWITCHEROOS (Candlewick Press) edited by Johanna Hurwitz. I am especially honored to have my story included with the work of such illustrious authors as David A. Adler, Eve B. Spring Critique Workshop at Mayslake
There are still openings for my Children's Writing Critique Workshop which will be held at the Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook on Mondays, , 7:00 - 9:00 PM, April 19-May 24.
In this workshop, adults who write for children and teens will receive critiques of their own work while learning how to critically study the work of other writers in a friendly, supportive environment. You must bring copies of your manuscript—a picture book, short story, or novel excerpt—to the first class. Also, before enrolling you must contact me for word count limits and manuscript guidelines.
